Why we need Salvation?
The bible tells us that "all have sinned and come short of the glory of God" (Romans 3:23). No matter how "good" we may be, we all have done things that are displeasing to God. This, by default, disqualifies us from being able to truly know God. Not only does sin disqualify us, but it also comes with a price of death (eternal separation from God). The good news is that God loves us, and truly desires to have a personal and eternal relationship with you! So he made a way!
How Did God Provide Salvation?
Because God loves us perfectly, He showed His love by sending Jesus, His only Son, to die for us. Jesus took on our sin, and He died on the cross in our place. This had to be done in order to redeem us from the state of sin we were in. Romans 6:23 tells us that this was a gift from God which results in eternal life for all those who accept the gift.
How can I accept Salvation?
John 3:16 says "For God so loved the workd that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have everlasting life". This hs wonderful news. This means that all we have to do to accept salvation is put our faith in Jesus Christ. In practical terms, this means we recognize that we are sinners, we repent and acknowledge that Jesus died for our sins, and we receive Him as our Lord and Savior!
